Terthys
Terthys is the goddess of tactics and strategy. Her followers are primarily generals and others military commanders, along with some common soldiers and a smattering of the most analytical bandits and other criminals. They tend to be careful and contemplative on decisions whenever they can be, seeing great value and even taking pride in this. Before acting on a plan, such as a battle strategy, they usually take care to plan out all possibilities, some going to great lengths to perfect them.
Most keep a close hold on their emotions, and though few are opposed to violence when they see utility in it they tend to detest actions taken out of anger. However, they are also often seen as cold by outsiders, as they are often disturbingly comfortable with the more unpleasant sides of war. Most Terthys worshipers see things like burning crops, attacking civilians, razing cities, and slaughtering captive enemies as perfectly appropriate actions if they can help achieve victory.
A small number take things even further, treating all of life as zero sum game they can win or lose and treating all of their decisions like tactics on a battlefield. They help others only when it benifits themselves, treating friends and family as allies that can be discarded if necessary on the path to what they see as winning, usually great wealth or power. These kinds of devotees see these actions not only as practical, but virtuous in their own way.
