Career
Qualifications
One must be shaman to another god first and have done so for at least twenty years. They must be observed to have clear and strong connections to those that dwell in Tundreille and have carried out their duties with the upmost integrity.
Payment & Reimbursement
Like other shamans, they are forbidden from excepting payment, however are provider for by their community. Given shelter , food and other services.
Other Benefits
Shamans of Brethan are often invited to sit at the chieftain's table and are given finer gifts at religious festivals.

Shamans of Brethan are revered as spiritual leaders and theologians and are considered of the highest rank among other shamans. This reverence is derived from the fact that they administer to the highest of the gods.
Operations
Tools
The most common tools used by the shamans are their hide drum. with which they enter holy trances and pray. Unique to their station is a blowing horn made from a mammoth tusk and coated in gold.
Materials
Apart from necessities, worshipers donate goods acquired from raiding, hunting or a good harvest to give as gifts to gods before evoking them. In brethan's case it can be whiskey, bread, gold, frostland high grass or good steel.
Workplace
They perform their rituals in a specialised temple hut. Brethan's shamans oft times have the largest ones adorned with a mammoth skull.
Provided Services
To directly commune with Brethan, the High god of the Cruthi religion through rituals of possession and administer blessings, boons and spiritual healing on his behalf. They also head shamanic councils and act as spiritual advisors for chiefs and kings.
Dangers & Hazards
While Shamans are under the protection of both clan and spiritual law and superstition surrounds the concept of harming them it it not uncommon for shamans to come under the blade of a few vengeful souls believing their interpretations false or unable to sway the gods to their side.
