Harrison Craig

Unerringly polite and even charming, Harrison Craig was until recently a hard-earned captive of Anthur-Ro. According to the documents obtained by the The Ladies' Hiking Club from a prison guard they unceremoniously executed, Craig had been charged with treason, murder, unauthorized planar vortex, unauthorized necromancy, unauthorized blood magic, genocide, unauthorized access to restricted material, &c. (It actually said "&c.")

Initial Meeting

On their first meeting, during The Assault on Anthur-Ro, Craig volunteered helpful information and remarked upon how pleasant it was to come across such amiable company after such a long time away from polite society. Following Clytemnestra "Fanny" Glitters's inquiry, Craig candidly admitted that he was not awaiting trial but was in fact imprisoned for life: a circumtance he admitted was probably appropriate "under the circumstances".   Despite the stasis effect of the Anthur-Ro prison chamber, it appears that Craig has either been passing the time exercising or was in excellent physical shape when he was first detained, his waist being significantly smaller than the thick chest straining below his simple silk collared shirt. He made no requests of the Club and attempted no subterfuge, being apparently more than satisfied to amuse himself with a passing conversation with some saucy interlopers.

Capture and Release

The guards at Anthur-Ro were regrettably negligent enough to keep their new prisoners, Beulah Garland and Fanny Glitters, in the same cell block as the bourbon-tongued silver fox. Once the jusiticiars had confirmed that everyone was adequately squared away in their cells, the prisoners were left in the hands of Feeny: a novice guard eager to ensure that her charges had adequate means of passing the time before trial.   Craig was cordial to the point of taking on hosting duties when the Ladies' Hiking Club was marched in, but when Feeny made the error of passing within arm's length of the bars, Craig struck with alarming violence, strangling her through the bars with the amulet exempting her from the antimagic shell. He spoke softly to her, encouraging her to remove the amulet. His captivity was not worth her dying over, he intoned. Ultimately she relented, freeing the artifact for another user and looking up into the dark expectantly. Craig stood tall and silent as a gallows as she renewed an even more desperate struggle. Less concerned with the guard's safety and more entranced by the sinewy forearms straining against the silver, the ladies opted to allow Craig to extinguish their captor (though Torwall tossed an aimless dagger at him).   Now wearing the exemption amulet, Harrison Craig was free and capable of weaving arcane power once more. He released himself and the beauties down the hall, offering them safe conduct to a location of their choosing. Beulah on behalf of the group chose Jin's Hill: a location just north of Nessardine at which they could safely rendezvous with the rest of their crew. Fanny slyly suggested they should meet again sometime and Craig was happy to oblige, offering obliquely to enchant one of her jewels. He kissed an ivory pendant wrapped about the back of her hand and with a dashing gesture, pulled apart a hole in reality for the Ladies to step through.   This 'watery' rippling of space and time was a beguiling use of interplanar magic the Club had only seen once previously as Vega Spritzer tore a hole in reality to escape a pocket dimension during the initial assault on Anthur-Ro and set some smoke demons free. That method of travel has left a lingering question in Beulah's head as to whether Craig is similarly empowered by some forces of Hell, the Grand Mausoleum or the Abyss; or if it is simply an idiosyncratic approach to teleportation known to both.   Harrison Craig's current whereabouts are unknown.
