Tyr's Passage (/tʰiːɘs pʰæsɪd͡ʒ/)

A reasonably sized town, located on the edge of a mountainside. A magically sealed door leads to a passageway that takes you across the Snavi Mountains.

Demographics

The population is almost entirely human, and it is even rare to find half-bloods among them. There is a clear wealth divide in the town, with the poorer families living closer to the main gate, and the Jarl (the leader of the Passage) being near the mountainface that the settlement resides by.

Defences

On three sides of the town are great sheets of thick ice, layering the mountainside. It is impossible to climb up - or down - the mountain faces. At the front of the town is an approximately 30ft high thick stone wall, with a heavy wooden gate in the centre. The wall is always manned by at least 6 guards.

Infrastructure

A market is in the central area of the town, providing a variety of goods to the common people. Near the defensive wall sits a graveyard, honouring many of the dead. A statue of Hel stands tall in the centre. On the opposite side of the town is garden, which always appears untouched by the weather, and is flowering all year round.

Districts

The slums sit near the entrance to the town, where the poor or unfortunates reside. The further into the town you go, the richer the houses become, up to the Jarl's manor, the largest and grandest building. A tall metal fence separates the Jarl's residence from the rest of the commonfolk.
