Its close proximity to both the dangerous Shadowfell and the majestic mountains of the Ivory Walls meant that adventurers and scholars alike were drawn to it. Over the centuries, the city's reputation grew, and it became known as the "Scholars' Refuge."   During the age of giants, Morin's Watch was spared much of the destruction that befell other parts of the Living Nexus, thanks to its strategic location and the protective magic weaved by its residents.
