Nyctoria

A crystalline world filled with magic and where dreams are seen as reality. It once held so much magic that even base creation could feel like gods but the Fall of the Gods changed that. Now the Nyctorans are divided into numerous subspecies that can only control the element they were born to.   Nyctorans appear human with bestial features that reflect their element and dream form. Their cultures are equally as varied as their numbers with city and tribal variants differing greatly. Even their view on which god is to be followed and how death is faced differs.   Solarium, the sun, is the goddess favored by most in the cities. Cruel, forceful, perfectionist, and even the instigator of the fall, this goddess is not to be crossed.   Lumerin, the diamond moon, is oft favored by the tribes. He is calm, gentle, self sacrificing, and healing. It's said it was him who spared them from extinction.
