Silence Won't be Heard
Silence won't be heard, so deep in Everdark interred;
The white noise blares, the sounds are blurred.
Silence won't be heard. Within the bounds of Kandahl's Fall;
The Rain of Men did not forestall
Mortals falling deep,un-drowned
Seeds were brought low, yet not downed
Fellstones Buried, Shards discovered
The Seven will have the Eighth now ushered
The Six will have the Tool uncovered But Silence can't be heard, ears discern no Silent word
Time will come one day to learn, that silence...
Silence can't be heard. In noiseless darkness beyond the ken
Silent stalks the submerged men
Rising, soundless, thralls who weep
Hunger, thirst in dream-less sleep
Horrors of the boundless Deep infect their brains and sustains
the brilliant songs of silence
Thus, Silence might be heard, its erratic noise observed
For Time itself has come to learn, that silence...
Silence might be heard
Beneath the Undersky's mauve glow
Silence as a tumor grows
Annihilating magicles in light,
Dragon's Passage toward Fight or Flight
And as the thunderous hammers fell
Sound the iteration death knell
List to the wells of Silence
So, Silence can be heard, from faintest sigh to strongest word
The Time's left to heed the chords, for Silence
Silence can be heard
The tracks of time are oft derailed,
The merchants of minutes have ever failed
Buying hours and selling days,
Not discerning disturbing ways
Nor sensing the chaotic maze
That leads into the Silence.
For Silence may be heard, noise should be observed
In scribes' screams, and in mime's words
Silence may be heard
Silence won't be heard. Within the bounds of Kandahl's Fall;
The Rain of Men did not forestall
