Some communities, cities, and even whole regions determine whether something holds value, based on its artistic merit. Sculpture, architecture, clothing, and fashion, even the means of combat and negotiation, all are raised to the utmost, measuring value based on the arts. Those with a Place of Beauty have a great gift, and perhaps a terrible burden. Aesthetics, the ability to appreciate artistic value is an acquired taste, and when one has it, others may find them boorish or snobbish. Arguably a great basis for some gifts and talents in appreciation and assessment of value, even the idea of measuring or reckoning value based on art lends itself to a critical eye and attention to detail. Like life, Beauty is the connection between light and shadow, so an association, an affinity with Penumbra is most expected. The Luster of light standing in beauty casts shadows all the less than optimal in darkness.   Those that pursue the creation of anything express their interpretation of Beauty upon the world, and in so doing develop an appreciation for form and image.Building makes one appreciate the perfection of the beautiful.
