Titania

The Titania was a prototype joint cargo and passenger ship designed by investors from Port Valor. It was the first merchant vessel to utilize delta shaped sails and its decks and compartments have been designed in a way that theoretically made the ship unsinkable. The body of the ship was divided into compartments of cargo and rooms for travelers and in peak capacity it was designed to carry up to three hundred passengers alongside one hundred crew members while carrying another five thousand tons of cargo while moving at a cruising speed of 16 knots. The ship sunk durin the The Storm of the Century  .     When the ship missed her heavily publicized arrival three days later, the Emperor of Ader, under heavy pressure from investors, has sent the Aderian Fleet to investigate.   The fleet found thirty lifeboats floating two hundred leagues from the Stormy Isles. Out of the 300 passengers only 100 where fitted into the lifeboats and only 35 of those survived, most where of noble birth or of wealthy family. Beside the ship captain, his first mate and three other officers none of the other crew members were found.   Investigators present on the Aderian Fleet have concluded that on the morning of 1st of First Bloom 1200  the ship has diverted from it's original course through the protected trade route and toward the Stormy Isles. Survivors have told that the ship was cough in the storm, but was fairing well until it was hit by an unknown object. The ship lower decks began filling with water. The ship's design had a specific flaw that allowed water to transfer from compartment to compartment if it was hit in a specific angle, which it did. As the ship began to sink it was broken into two. most passengers in the lower decks have drowned before they could even reach the stairs.   The ship Weather Stone was locked on the navigator's deck but the person who held the key has missed the boarding alongside the ship's wizard, later it was learned that the two were beaten and robbed while on their way to the docks of Port Royal.   Two days later another passenger, named Jack Dawson, has been found floating on a piece of the broken deck. His story have become a successful romance play named Titania: The Ship of Love and Hardship.   Another passenger was found the day later. John Jacob Astor. He was feverish and hallucinating when he was brought on board. He mumbled about a peasant woman being murdered by getting beaten on her head with an iron rod as she, jack and him were left floating on the ship's derbies. He passed away after a few hours from fever and asphyxiation and his story has never been confirmed.
