Amrius Silfervo

Not much is known about Silfervo before his time with the The Pax Venatores. He was known as a very secretive Half Elf and one of Saherim Tarian's most trusted officers.  

In the service of the Pax Venatores

Silfervo was recruited fairly early in the organization history and quickly caught the eye of Tarian who groomed him as his third, and later his second. Under his name, Silfervo who often undertake the most dangerous missions and task given to the organization. He proved to be a masterful swordsman and a great tracker.  

Invasion of Berri and service in the Free Cities

During the Amarrisi Invasion of Berri Silfervo spent most of his time in trenches and tunnels and was instrumental in building and securing the smuggling network the kept the city alive. He was awarded several medal and honors by the Arch Duke for his actions, sometimes engaging with enemy troops the rest of the defenders failed to notice.   After the siege was over he was an instrumental part in the deal between the Pax Venatores and the Free Cities Board of Directors regarding the security of their city. Furthermore, even back than both he and Tarian wished to change the organization to better suite the international character it has taken. While Tarian stayed in Berri to manage the day to day operations, Silfervo would roam the Agaman Bay area and connect with different Pax Venatores groups. He would deliver intelligence and brass orders but would also take notes on the officers and general troops to locate potential overachievers or those who would undermine or contradict their grand plan.  

The Pacificatores

Before the passing of Saherim Tarian he made clear that Silfervo would replace him as the leader of the Pax Venatores. The decision was considered natural, as he was Tarian's most trusted lieutenant. Unbeknown to the rest, he and Tarian would comb the organization at all levels, using his notes and other means they managed to clear the ranks from any who would be dissidents to their plans. By the time Tarian passed away the organization was ready for its transformation and soon after Silfervo would disband the Pax Venatores and form the Pacificatores. The new organization was structured differently and focused more on civilian action, but still kept most of its military capabilities.  

Later Years

Silfervo continued to lead the organization under the title of Invocer and personally involved himself in every decision taken, a stark contrast to his predecessor who had a more hands-free approach. He cemented several combat tactics and arrests protocols based on the Maxims of Tarian, and would constantly meet with nobles and officials by himself in order to ensure others view the organization as legitimate.   The constant travels and meetings had a very adverse effect on the aging Silfervo and his health began to deteriorate. This, coupled with a few unpleasant cases of mistaken identities and friendly fires ifluenced him to create a third arm of the Pacificatores, to handle the noble and legal matters. The creation of the office was extremely controversial within the higher brass who feared that disconnecting the role they aimed to inherent from the noble courts would lead to loss of prestige and the role becoming titular only. With no support from his officers, and after an assassination attempt that left him in a wheel chair, he approached the Ambassador College and formed the Office of Diplomatic Affairs. He then formed a forth office, the Office of General Affairs, who would oversee the other three and settle inner disputes.   The Pacificatores continued to flourish under Silfervo for a few more decades until his sudden death from a heart attack at the impressive age of 201.
