Greater God

Greater Gods are the most worshipped of the gods. While Upper Gods are just always appreciated, but rarely prayed to, Greater Gods are consistently worshipped by many people. Each Greater God has an avatar on the material plane. These avatars used to be normal people, but when a Greater God is either dissatisfied with its avatar or does not have a living one, it chooses a new one. They choose their most loyal subject and bless them with extraordinary powers.   Greater Gods can be made in two ways. They are either created by an Upper God or are a Lesser God that gained enough followers to be considered an upper god. There is no exact number of followers a Lesser God needs to become a Greater God, just that one day it will become one.   The Greater Gods made by the Upper Gods can be split into two categories. The 9, eight gods created by The Three Creators to watch over all the main domains, and the 16 Rulers, the rulers of the outer planes. The Rulers are normally found on their plane, but they occasionally go to the material plane and, while possible, they rarely go to God's Table. Meanwhile, the 9 are almost always at God's Table(with the exception of Helm of Nophes , although they occasionally go to the material plane.
