Born in NE-1296 just outside the city of Lagash, Stepstone, Praema Clar has served as Fleet Controller for Expedition Fleet Prime for over three decades. During her Control, the Interstellar Cooperative has nearly doubled their catalogue of surveyed systems, with many young colonies owing their discovery to Praema.
One of her more famous discoveries was that of the Jurandar Signal in NE-1325, when Array Probes deployed by the fleet around a distant star found something unbelievable. In a sparse region near the top of the galactic plane, the Array Probes of Expedition Fleet Prime enjoyed a view unhinered by the dense nebulae clouding the stars. With their sensors using the lone star as a gravitational lense, they began cataloguing distant stars, unseen to the humans of Novus. Within a scant few months, artificial signals were detected while scanning the distant Jurandar System. While initially exciting, further analysis has thus far been unable to definitively prove whether the Jurandar Signal originates from an intelligent alien civilization, or is simply the result of some unknown natural phenomenon. Complicating things further, the Jurandar System resides over 15,000LY from Novus. Human travel to Jurandar seems unfeasable for the foreseeable future, although construct-led expeditions have recently been dicussed.

Born outside the Capital City of Stepstone, Lagash, Praema grew up in a relatively rural environment just outside the urban sprawl. Joined Fleet Command in NE-1316 after Sovreignty sponsored terrorist attack on Lagash destroyed her home neighbourhood. Promoted to Current position in NE-1323 after exceptional wartime performance. Participant in both the Coldstar War from NE-1316 to NE-1322 and the Month War in NE-1352.
