Using your deep understanding of the mind and soul in tandem with the powers of the Resonance, you can call upon the power of Melodizations for yourself and your linked allies. For the next round, you and all linked allies can choose to benefit from one passive or use one ability from their respective Melodization. Alternatively, you may choose a specific ally to temporarily activate their Melodization for the next round.
The depth of understanding between you and your linked allies now manifests as the ability to coordinate your attacks as if you were all extensions of the same body. When a linked ally makes an attack, one or more linked allies may potentially gain an immediate follow-up attack based on criteria determined by the depth of mutual understanding they have with the ally in question:
When a follow-up attack is proc’ed in this manner and there are multiple linked allies that could potentially use it, you may choose only one to execute the attack.
Through your mastery of the unconscious, you have learned how to call upon the power stored within collective memory. When you make a long rest, you can choose to reminisce on past memories, recalling up to 5 specific scenes from your past, your resonants’ past, or the past of a linked party member. These scenes are then stored as Vignettes, of which you can have a maximum of 5. In combat, you can call upon a Vignette as an ability action, infusing you and all your linked allies with the power contained within the memory. Depending on the context of the memory, different effects may occur. Once a Vignette is used, you are no longer capable of calling upon that memory as a Vignette, permanently.
Once at the start of each round, you may swap the positions in the turn order between any two linked allies. This change persists between rounds.
When multiple allies can be selected to use a follow-up attack granted by Heart to Heart, you can grant follow-up attacks to additional valid allies, expending 2 Psionic Ki per additional ally.
While your Psionic Ki is below half, you automatically regenerate 1d4+1 Psionic Ki at the start of your turn. Psionic Ki gained in this way cannot bring you past half of maximum; any excess Psionic Ki is automatically lost.
When you use the Meditate action, you gain a free DEX movement roll.
While your Psionic Ki is above half, all follow-up attacks made by any linked ally as part of Heart-to-Heart will proc a follow-up attack from your Psionic Focus.
As an ability action, you can grant a linked ally access to a skill they do not have currently equipped or is normally incompatible with their current class for 1 round, by spending Psionic Ki equivalent to 2x the TP cost.
You no longer need to roll CON to maintain Linked Minds. However, certain effects such as Blind or Dazed can still force a CON roll to temporarily break your links; when this happens, you will regain your previous links at the start of your turn provided you are not currently afflicted with any inhibiting effects.
The range of all psionic spells and psionic abilities you have now extends from each linked ally, as if you were positioned where they were.
At the cost of 2 Psionic Ki, as a free reaction you can choose to replace the stat or skill involved for the roll a linked character is about to make with the stat/skil from a different linked character (provided the other character is conscious and capable of consent).
When an ally gains the ability to make a follow-up attack as part of Heart-to-Heart, you can spend 3 Psionic Ki to instead have one of the ally’s Resonant Partners temporarily enter the fight and perform a follow-up attack. The Resonant Partner can swap in for the ally, replacing their spot as an active character, or immediately leave.
If you spend all actions on your turn on meditating, you gain a Legendary Action, lasting until your next turn.
Once per long rest, as a free action you can fill your Psionic Ki to maximum. Using this ability after you have already used it this long rest will instead grant you 3 Psionic Ki per each linked ally, in exchange for inflicting each of them with 1 stack of Injury.
When you are at maximum Psionic Ki, you can spend an ability action to drain all of it, in exchange for temporarily swapping the class of a linked ally to a different unequipped class they have levels in for 1 round.
