True Cross

Introduction

If there is a dominant song in the Cacophony of Nova Secundus it is the True Cross. Part corporation, part religious order and part political movement. Though it is not the exclusive way of existing in the dominion here it is the ladder to ascend to a higher status for all kindred. Its leader, the Prince himself, is rumored to have been a crusader and a member of the Knights Templar. However apocryphal it serves his legend as he maintains a deft hand on the deadening pulse of the city. His second in command though, she is more than eager to put wayward kindred to the test with a trial referred to as ascending the tree of knowledge.

Herd

Being the most powerful group of vampires in the city they very much get their choice of blood. The methods and means varies according to each individual though. Some pride themselves on sourcing their own particular vintages whilst others may indulge in the likes of The Renown for what they need to quench their thirsts.

The Danse Macabre

Each member of True Cross represents a different pillar of kindred society in the city. They are the invisible hand, often influencing kindred just as often as any kine, shaping them in the ways they see fit.
