Island Nations
Land:
- Biome is primarily jungles; the climate is hot and very humid
- There are two major islands surrounded by a number of smaller ones. The northern island is warmer and wetter, and the western coast features a line of mountains, several of them volcanic. Sheer cliffs drop down into the sea above while the rest of the coast is lined with sandy beaches. The southern island is larger and cooler, with a similar mountain range on the eastern coast. In the middle of the jungle lies a perfectly round crater from where the sky city once stood, filled in with a massive lake.

Society:
- Government– They're not actually one nation, but rather a collective of independent city-states, each of which is a theocracy centered around a specific deity. The largest state is led by the temple of the Moon, and the rest are each dedicated to a Star. The Star temples are led by Stellar mages, who are direct descendants of their patron Stars. Stars who didn’t have children still have temples dedicated to them, but they are not the centers of their own city-states.
- Economy– Major exports include salt, seafood, produce, and medicine, while major imports include? Goods are transported by boat to all of the other nations. The most common occupations include fishermen. Upper class citizens work as mages.
- Settlements– The majority of their settlements are built on the ocean floor, protected by airtight magical domes. The wilderness on the islands is mostly untamed, with only the beaches having any development. The only exception is a single, massive metropolis centered around the crater lake on the southern island, hidden by the density of the jungle. Shabby driftwood buildings dot the shores, giving the appearance of a poor nation, while the underwater cities are large and luxurious.
