The Forbidden Arts

Whenever you have the capacity for great power, you have some who become addicted and seek even more. Magi who seek power beyond the bonds of the Veil may go into the realm of forbidden magic. These include the dark arts of Necromancy, Witchcraft, Divination and Sorcery, and they may also include using power from evil or demonic sources.    Using spells, practicing arts, and even using items enchanted with forbidden magic, is highly warned against as such can beguile and seduce even the most pure-hearted mage. Many magi intentionally seek out forbidden paraphernalia for the purposes of destroying it.
