"The glory of battle is ours! Victory for Notta!"
— Wardom

Origins

Lunar created Wardom after the World War. He assigned her to command the War Unit. This unit of soldiers quelled uprisings and rebellions the Dark Dwarves tried to start. If the rebellion rose, the War Unit made them fall.

Commander of the War Unit

Wardom was in charge of this group of soldiers in Notta. Her unit included War Clerics, Elementalists, Runic Writers, Sorcelems, and Sages. War Clerics handled immediate patrols in their assigned city or village. Elementalists were necessary for special cases of rebellious happenings; their binding spells used to freeze rebel's tracks. Runic Writers used rune magic to enhance weapons and armour. Sorcelems commanded healing powers from the constellations; making them valuable battle healers. Sages were non-magical Tigrim, who volunteered to keep the peace against their past oppressors.   This battle-hungry angel commanded with such ferocity, she inspired many more than even Lunar thought possible. With Tigrim joining the War Unit, some Dark Dwarves became inspired by the freedom Wardom represented. However, these dwarves had to go through other more strenuous trials in order to prove their sincerity of joining the unit. Some failed, but many rose from the ashes of their race's reputation. Wardom welcomed these dwarves with an open heart. Thanks to this, during the Great Rebellion, the dwarves in the unit stood against their own people's tyranny. But, they ultimately failed.

Pushing the Rebellions Back

Wardom's War Unit stopped many Dark Dwarven rebellions before they caused significant damage to Notta's civilization. There was finally a time when the rebels gave up their efforts for at least a century. Wardom saw this as an omen for peaceful times at last coming within Twilight Citadel. However, that omen became dark as Stricord appeared with many Dark Dwarven followers, as well as Dark Elves and Naga. Even Wardom's own soldiers bent to the will of Stricord, fighting at her side.   Wardom's own took her down, marking the end of the War Unit.

Wardom's Final Archon

by AuthorChase on HeroForge
The final Warmaster was a Dark Elf, Cerana Moonglow. Her unique weapons stormed the battle field with precision as she took down her enemies. The swinging chains cut into rebels with their blade-ended tips. Cerana crafted these chains herself, as she was once a blacksmith in Crystal Towers. She wanted to make a new weapon for the War Unit, and she gave away many to the Tigrim Sages. This display impressed Wardom, so when the time came to announce a new Warmaster, Wardom chose Cerana. With the training Cerana received in battle by Wardom and the Sages, she became the first Dark Elf Sage in Notta.   However, even with Cerana's powerful blades and techniques, she was transformed by Stricord into one of her thralls. Along with the rest of the War Unit.

Perks and Flaws

Wardom was the master of battle and planning. She expressed kinder regards to every race in Notta; including the Dark Dwarves. Musance disagreed with some of her recruitment methods, but saw the potential it could have for future rebellions. Wardom's weakness was in magical arts. She was the weakest of angels in that regard, her creation magic almost non-existent. This was why the War Unit founded their own magics with the help of some other rulers. This was her weakness in battle and society. The other angels still respected her in this difference, which Wardom appreciated with all her being.

Wardom's Animal Companion

by AuthorChase on HeroForge
However, with this weakness in creation magic, Wardom was the only angel on Notta, with no animal form. She made up for it with her favorite nightmane steed, Sparrow. The faithful animal took her to places she could only dream of, riding into battle and patrols. Sparrow was given to her by a farmer named Faranor Nocturne from Crystal Towers. Wardom appreciated the farmer and during her visits to the family home, she became a part of their inner circle. When it was time to recruit Vaelar Nocturne, the angel did it with a familial joy, proud to fight alongside him.
