Danu
The mother goddess Danu is the ancestor from which most of the elder gods claimed descent. Despite her importance to the mythology, Danu largely remains a mystery. She is an ancient deity, and made no appearances in the larger elder mythos. Though scholars have frequently sought answers regarding this mysterious matriarch, few definitive details have been found.
She is thought to be the second oldest amongst the old gods.
