The group was confronted by the sea hag and two more merrows summoned by her within the hull of the crashed ship. The party identified that the ship had been there quite a while longer than they were told, judging by the extent to which the foods inside had decayed. The party encountered a suspicious box separate from the other shipping containers aboard, and Anaharath was able to recognize that it was marked as biohazardous material; other crates held some apportioned coins as well as a decent bit of mixed-quality jewelry. The largest crate contained a full suit of Adamantine Splint armor donned by Kleos. The party returned their winnings to the airship and recovered a blacked-out Virus, who only awoke at the suggestion of further drinking. The party descended to the town formed outside of the Cannith fortress and set out to the local tavern. A very energetic bard performed at the tavern, and they seemed to take a special interest in Virus, her magic, and her future. They had a brief, tense but civil, conversation before the bard took their leave. Virus got the impression that the bard related to her Clerical ability. The party took a long rest aboard the airship, and the next morning Deathroar and Anaharath met with Silver to discuss the etiquette requirements imposed on the group. Silver elaborated that both outfits and etiquette will be handled before the event, they suggested the group arrive a day or two in advance. When pressed about the biohazardous materials, Silver deflected further questioning, but did divulge that the samples were of the Thorn Plague that has plagued another continent for decades. They seemed to assume the sample would be dead by this point, but the samples would likely need to further evaluated to be certain. Deathroar and Anaharath also found a compound library, where they stole two books about plagues and disease both magical and otherwise. Deathroar investigated the cursed blade he had found in the Mournland tunnels and found it to be a longsword of vengeance. The session ended on the 6th of Therendor in the afternoon, ten days before the event.
