Cause of the incident
Toxic gas theory
The most common theory suggests that the volcano let out an enourmous amount of toxic gas. The wind then pushed the gas selto, passing through Vaelthar before being blocked by the Coïcmo mountains.
Landslide theory
Another common theory suggests that the collapse of the volcano caused a giant landslide that destroyed most of the city.
