Biological Variations

Size and Weight
Female Wildkin tend to fall into the average of their species, leaning towards the smaller and lighter end of the spectrum. They typically stand around 1.73 meters (5'8'') and weigh around 70 kilograms (154 pounds), with some variation. Males, on the other hand, tend to be much taller, with many reaching up to 2.38 meters (7'8'') and weighing up to 130 kilograms (287 pounds).Build and Physique
Similar to most of their kin, Wildkin tend to be fairly well-built but usually boast a more athletic build, being less bulky compared to the Ironbound.
Appearance and Sexual Dimorphism
Wildkin, sculpted by centuries within the dark forests of Tidecaller Reach, bear skin tones that span from a muted greyish hue to a deep, verdant green, reflecting the shadows of their woodland home. Their hair ranges from the deepest black to earthy brown, occasionally taking on natural white or grey tones. Most rare and also most admired is that of auburn-red, as it is seen as a sign of Freyja's linneage. Yet, it's in the subtleties of their physique that the most captivating differences emerge: Female Wildkin are often celebrated for their ethereal beauty, their elegant ears elongating gracefully behind their heads. Their faces possess a delicate harmony, blending human and elven features with their orcish traits. Towering over their female counterparts, Wildkin males embody a primal vigor, their forms adorned with markers of their wild heritage. Some boast majestic horns, while others have tusks that jut forth, both intricately carved or adorned with piercings. Bone protrusions or even fur that cascades along their backs and upper arms further accentuate their animalistic essence.Extended Life
Blessed by the goddess of life herself, the Wildkin enjoy an extended lifespan, living up to 230 to 250 years.History
Many centuries ago, the Ragnhav Schism tore the orcish homeland asunder, leading to a seismic shift in power and the scattering, exile, or eradication of many long-established clans. One such clan, the Bramblewind, fled north towards Isdríftr, eventually finding refuge in Tidecaller Reach. Initially met with hostility, the goddess Freyja intervened, placing these orcs under her protection and bestowing upon them her blessing. Thus transformed, the Wildkin embraced their new identity, integrating into the wilds and forests of Tidecaller Reach. Over time, they spread across the realm, dedicated to safeguarding its natural environments and preserving its wilderness.Culture

Druidic Customs
The Wildkin live in harmony with nature, their lives interwoven with the cycles of the natural world. Their customs reflect a deep reverence for the environment, guided by druidic principles and rituals. Freyjan
Although not every Wildkin worships her, Freyja is highly revered among most Wildkin. This veneration stems from her taking them under her care when they were hunted and threatened by their former gods and kin. Matriarchal Society Though they rarely form large groups or societies, Wildkin communities are often matriarchal. Female Wildkin are considered closer to Freyja and are often more calm and collected. This does not imply that males are seen as inferior, but rather that Wildkin have a strong sense of duty. Males typically take on protective roles, while females tend to lean towards leadership. Valued Independence Independence is highly valued among the Wildkin. While they stay with their families for extended periods, many embark on solitary journeys for pilgrimages, missions, or the simple pleasure of adventuring.
