Ragnhav Ironbound

The Ironbound are the embodiment of the Ragnhav's martial prowess, hailing from the rugged island nation of Krag'or.
Living in tightly-knit clans, these orcs respect strength, skill in combat, and naval expertise above all else.
Their lives are defined by the rhythms of raids and the tides, and they uphold a fierce warrior code that values bravery, loyalty, and honor in battle.

Biological Variations

Size and Weight

The Ironbound display minimal variation between males and females, fitting within the average size range of their species.
Both genders generally fall within the typical height and weight parameters of the Ragnhav orcs.

Build and Physique

Ironbound orcs, regardless of gender, tend to be well-built, with highly muscled physiques.
Even those who are less focused on martial pursuits exhibit a robust and powerful build.

Appearance

While not to the point of androgyny, the differences between male and female Ironbound can be subtle. Females typically have slightly slimmer builds, while males are a bit bulkier.
Their skin tones vary from darker greens, reminiscent of seaweed, to lighter greyish hues.
Hair colors range from dark browns to black.

Culture and cultural heritage

Martial Society
As the Ironbound keep the long tradition of raiding and conquest, those of high martial prowess tend to rise to the highest ranks of society, leading their own clans and warbands. However, those more intelligent and apt in the arcane arts are not barred from rising to leadership, this tends to be far more rare among the Ironbound.
  Naval Mastery
Due to the geography of their homeland, Ironbound are expected to know, at the very least, the basics of naval navigation and seafaring. Not only to allow them to island hop through the islands of Krag'or, but also to conduct raids on distant shores throughout Norchnaviður.
  Loyalty
Loyalty to ones clan, warband or crew is paramount. Not only for opportunities for loot, plunder and combat, but also for protection and home. Those branded as traitors will often see themselves struggling to survive on their own, or forced to seek new bonds, either with other exiles, or in distant lands where their presence may not be as accepted.
