Faithful of Sul
The Followers of Sul are devoted to Sul, Goddess of the Sun, Life, and Healing. The faith centers on compassion, mercy, restoration, and the belief that life is sacred and worthy of protection. To the faithful, Sul’s light is not only the sun in the sky, but the inner warmth that guides mortals toward redemption, community, and hope.
Structure
The faith of Sul is loosely structured and decentralized.
Members commonly use familial titles such as Brother, Sister, and Elder.
There is no rigid hierarchy; authority is local, earned through wisdom, service, and devotion rather than rank.
Culture
The faith favors warm colors, simple robes, sun motifs, open architecture, and welcoming spaces. Music and gentle hymns are common. Temples are designed to feel safe, calm, and inclusive.
Public Agenda
To the average person, the Followers of Sul are healers, counselors, and caretakers. They run infirmaries, soup kitchens, shelters, and mediation halls. In times of war or plague, they are often the first to respond.
Assets
While not wealthy, the faith maintains:
Temples that double as hospitals
Medical supplies and healing tools
Shelters and soup kitchens
A wide informal network of healers and mediators
