While pursuing leads on the Cult, the party encounters Tharivol and Admiral Valthurn's gambling caravan, near the forest Sigbite. They learn about Grikthar's Thornhold and the corrupting nature within. They also hear about the potential for treasures. The party and Tharivol decides to infiltrate Grikthar's stronghold, navigating through traps and outsmarting the rival lieutenants, Skizzik and Brak. They destory the corrupting force, ending Grikthar's reign.
