Survival Training Camp of Eldoria

The Survival Training Camp in the Kingdom of Eldoria is a rite of passage for all 17-year-olds. This tradition aims to equip young citizens with self-sustenance and teamwork skills. The six-month camp, led by experienced mentors, is located in a remote and challenging terrain. Training encompasses nature skills such as identifying edible plants and finding water sources. It also includes hunting, tracking, and understanding the ethics of hunting. Group tasks emphasize teamwork and strategic thinking.   A final three-day trial, possibly at the Circle on the Lake, an isolated camp, tests the acquired skills and mental fortitude. This location is associated with legends of lurking shadows, with safety found only within the Circle on the Lake. The camp is not only about skill acquisition but also fosters personal growth and understanding of the natural world. It creates strong bonds among participants. The camp is regarded with a mixture of awe and curiosity by those outside the tradition. Tales of challenges and legends are shared, and parents anticipate their children's participation for the valuable skills and maturity gained.

Trainees undergo tests and challenges designed to evaluate their physical abilities and their embodiment of Eldoria's values of resilience, respect for nature, and camaraderie. Successful completion earns graduates a badge of honor, signifying their skills and experience. The camp's impact extends beyond survival skills; graduates often carry a deep respect for nature and a strong sense of community.
