Description
Standing about 7 feet tall, a Drakehoof Horse is known for its immense stature and speed. Often considered the pinnacle of horses in the regions they are found, a Drakehoof is similar in many fashions to larger draught and warhorses. They are known to have manes of a pale coloration that are in stark contrast to their often monotone hide. Many cultures braide these manes to create patterns in worship of local deities or local celebrations.
Due to their large form, Drakehoof Horses are known for their ability to pull huge carriages filled with immense cargo. However, they are also compotent warrior beasts, with them being able to perform immense trampling charages against even powerful creatures.

Armaments
Unlike other beasts of burden, many Drakhoof Horses are given armor and other armaments to protect them in the course of their journey or combat. The armor designed for a Drakehoof Horse often resembles that of a metallic dragon. This is due to their name originating from the immense noise that the creatures make when they gallop. A loud thunderous impact that sounds like the beating of a dragon's wings.
In recent years, nobles in the Ossalimarian Empire have started to adorn their Drakehoof Horses with spikes or blades along several parts of their armor to give a more militaristic and practical armor that allows for conflict to be resolve much quicker in their eyes.
