The Guild of Blacksmiths
Structure
They are a benevolent fraternity of folk who practice the same trade, who join for the camaraderie and to share knowledge and advance their skills. The guild imports, and provids its members with the raw materials needed for their crafts. They also make the tools that their members require for their work, either renting or selling them, while ensuring they remain well-maintained.
Culture
It is intended to take care of its members, improve working conditions, try to guarantee supplies, provide business opportunities, and oppose taxes. Guildmembers are always busy, crafting everyday metal objects, such as brackets, chains, hinges, horseshoes, latches, needles, and the like. They are also responsible for crafting simple weapons such as hammers and maces.
Public Agenda
The symbol of the blacksmith's guild is a certain sigil. Members will wear this as a badge with a feather on an article of clothing such as a hat.
Assets
In business, the guild pride themselves in being able to design efficient, yet elegant items; produce their crafts quickly; and, when required, replicate those designs with exacting precision.
