Sam has a well build and is of average height which causes him to often be eye to eye with many races and creatures.

Phasing: Sam can phase in and out of horse form.    Super Senses: Sam possesses heightened, animal senses; akin to actual horses, he is able to see with greater clarity than humans, even in darkness, and his senses of smell is also enhanced.    Regeneration: Sam has a powerful regenerative healing factor. This allows him to heal at an abnormal rate, faster than any human being can. Small cuts and minor injuries heal within seconds while larger, more damaging injuries, such as broken bones, blood loss, and vampire venom infection seem to heal within minutes.    Invulnerability: Sam cannot be killed by most conventional means and weapons, however, certain supernatural weapons, as well as silver, can kill him. He can also be killed by methods decapitation, dismemberment, as well as certain supernatural beings.    Hooves: Sam has powerful hooves and is able to slam through solid walls. His hooves can kick out a human heart right out of their chest cavity.   High Body Temperature: Sam has a constant body temperature of about 110° degrees to withstand severe cold weather. This high body heat also allows him to survive in very hot weather, making it hard for her bodies to overheat. This high body temperature is very useful in combat, as it makes it extremely hard for vampires to harm him because they are extremely sensitive to heat. This temperature also prevents frequent illness, by killing any potential pathogens he comes into contact with before he can become ill.     Natural Enhancements: Sam has superhuman strength in horse form. In horse form, he possesses supernatural speed, capable of running over 100 miles per hour. In battle, he is very capable of handling his opponents. Sam also has greater endurance than a human.    Indomitable Will: Sam possesses a strong will to keep going against impossible odds.   Master Tactician and Strategist: Sam is a master accomplished tactician and strategist. He has been widely known as one of the greatest tacticians in the land, both on and off the battlefield.
