Redbird

Red is a small but muscular Monstrous Nightmare with a long neck and tail, a crocodilian-like skull with a short nasal horn and four large horns on the back of its head. His body is covered in thick, smooth scales. The wings are large and bat-like, with claws on the "hand" part, allowing Red to use them as front legs for crawling.

Strength: Red is shown to be a very powerful dragon as he has never shown any signs of struggle when lifting any heavy objects in the air. Additionally, he can accommodate an additional heavy people on his neck without experiencing any strain.    Wing Blast: Red's wings are strong enough to blast a full-grown Hideous Zippleback to the ground or move a pair of trees a very far distance. Red is able to combine this ability and his flamethrower to create a more powerful attack.    Flame Up: Like all Monstrous Nightmares, Red is coated in some type of flammable gel, which he can then ignite and flames appear all over his body.    Jaw Expansion and Jaw Strength: Red is able to open his jaw wide enough to swallow an adult whole.   Endurance and Stamina: Red has shown to have amazing stamina and endurance even before being tamed and trained hard by Timothy. He also recovered fairly quickly several times. He was able to get back up from being thrown by a Titan Monstrous Nightmare, and later defeat it.    Heat Resistance: Red is extremely heat resistant, as he is able to light himself on fire with no adverse effects. He also doesn't seem to mind hot climates.   Intelligence and Communication Skills: Red' intelligence is unrivalled amongst any other known dragon and often displays the attributes of an incredibly smart and strategic thinker. He exhibits the ability to comprehend human jokes and recognize humor, and he even has his own chortle (his version of a laugh). A lot of Red' intelligence and skill come from his curiosity, as he is always trying to do things that he has never tried before. He has learned to comprehend silent commands via hand signals and motions.   Senses: Red has also been observed to have a well-developed sense of smell, as he was able to find Timothy's scent after a day from being separated in the Dragon Desert.   Hunting and Fishing: Red seem to chase his prey down to tire them out before attacking. He can hunt in solitary or in a pack if needed. With his swimming ability, he can hold his breath and fish, which can be hooked on his spines. And he does this to keep his fish warm to eat later. He can store fish both in his mouth and on his spines.
