Laval has a well built and is of average height which causes him to often be eye to eye with many races and creatures.

Lion Roar: With this he is able to make a roar that can travel across the Pride Lands which is a distress call to the other allies.   Intelligence: Above Average; While childish and naive, he has shown to be a capable leader.    Feline Empathy: Laval has a strong affinity for cats. Feline species tend to flock to him, accepting him almost immediately, recognizing somehow that he is not an enemy but a friend. This allows him to calm injured cats, train them, befriend them, and form strong bonds with them. These animals will even sometimes come to his defense when he is attacked. This has proved most beneficial, especially when it has involved big cats.    Toxic Immunity: Laval has acclimated himself to most toxins and poisons.    Transformation: Laval can transform himself into a half-human/half-lion creature and back to human form.    Claws and Fangs: Laval has powerful claws and is able to cut through solid walls. His fangs can tear human flesh and can rip out a human heart right out of their chest cavity. He is able to transform just his claws without transforming fully.    Superhuman Durability: Laval's skin and superhumanly enhanced bodily tissues provide him much greater resistance to physical injury than an ordinary human. He can withstand great impact forces, falls from great heights, and small crossbow bolts without sustaining injury.    Superhuman Senses: Like any Werelion, Laval can smell better than peak-human beings. His ears are ten times more sensible to sounds than human ears.    Regeneration: Laval can quickly regenerate all non-lethal damage. He can even heal damage that would be fatal to Humans.    Super Speed: Laval can move very fast. He is able to move from place to place in seconds. He is considerably faster than Humans.    Superhuman Reflexes: Laval' reflexes are superior to those of the finest human athlete.    Superhuman Agility: Laval' agility, balance, and body coordination are enhanced to levels that are beyond the natural physical limits of even the finest human athlete.    Superhuman Strength: Laval possess sufficient superhuman strength to lift about 15 tons. His physical strength has extended into the muscles of his legs allowing him to leap about 25 m into the air.    Master Hand-To-Hand Combatant: Laval is a master hand-to-hand combatant.    Master Sword Duelist: Laval is an extremely skilled sword duelist.

Laval wears a royal blue kilt with gold & black markings, pads on his knees, and a royal Lion belt. He also wears a cape of the same colour. Laval's torso is covered in blue clothing, over which he wears a golden harness.

Royal Valious: The Royal Valious and its twin are the first of the ancient weapons of honor forged in the Pride Lands. Indestructible, made of Leochium, a precious golden metal found at the foot of the Pride Rock. A royal crystal represents the first king of the Pride Lands. Passed down through a line of worthy heirs to Laval, it enlightens and protects its bearer. Only the bravest and most loyal protectors of the Pride Lands will ever be able to use it.
