Personal history
Voln and Harrok were born during the Age of Giants and grew up in a draconic society in its prime though at war with the Giants. Harrok was assigned to be Voln's bodyguard when Voln became a diplomat for the dragons. The two became a couple and invaluable to negotiating with Giantkind. This work made them sympathetic to the Giants. When they found out that the Dragons were ready to deploy a Biogenic weapon that would wipe out Giants, they sabotaged the weapon. This unfortunately released the damaged plague. Most dragons were infected and their genome damaged. Dragons would from then on be less long lived, less intelligent, less magically powerful and unable to hibernate which ensured their mortality. This made Voln and Harrok hunted traitors of dragonkind. They escaped throughout the centuries through blending into humanoid societies and hibernation. They were mostly forgotten when the elder dragons hibernated and the Hopeless plague wiped out many dragons and giants. This plague would lead to a peace treaty that imposed the Ordening on the Giants and would break the Dragon's organization. Voln and Harrok would go on to eventually father Volk, thei only egg who would venture at a young age to become a disguised adventurer among humanoids. Here they joined the Wrenguard where they fell in love with Maria de la Wren. These two were married and had Falco, then Robin as children. Volk made a life with the de la Wrens where Voln & Harrok visit occasionally, tutoring their grandchildren.
