Flumph

Flumphs are a psychic species of subterranean sentient, jellyfish like beings. Thye live underground and are sometimes encountered in dungeons, dwarven cities and other cavern dwellings. They are universally benevolent, curious and helpful. They are nomadic and the small clans will float aorund, searching for new thoughts to observe. They are fascinated by humanoid beings and will sometimes even commune with Myconid Collectives. The Flumph can communicate via images and feelings telepathically but few have learned humanoid speech. They are also known to adopt mindwitnesses and other discarded Cthulid beings who will become far less violent when exposed to Flumph telepathy. The flumph avoid violence but will risk their lives to help others. A few adventurous Flumphs will venture above ground and join with adventurers but they are very rare indeed.    Flumph 5e Stats
