Personal history
Tulsi Khaseeri was born on June 16th, 1980 to Safa and Uma Khaseeri in Azharin, a city about 30 miles away from the national capital of Nishapur. Khaseeri was brought up in a poorer household, and luxuries weren't always guaranteed. Both parents had jobs, although, due to lack of education, they weren't stable, well-paying jobs. Tulsi often played street cricket with the kids in her neighborhood, including her brother Rashnu and his future wife, Pia, and the latter played state cricket with Tulsi, although she retired before going international.
Tulsi began playing state cricket halfway through college, at age 19, and was the captain of the international U-19 side for a year. Despite a 2 year break from the ages of 21-23 to finish college, she broke through to the international scene at 26, making it into Nisha's first ever T20I team, playing in their first match and taking 5 wickets, although injury soon after that match led to her withdrawal from the series. That match started a prosperous 9-year career, ending in 2015 due to injuries sustained during a 2014 series, although she played a few more games after announcing her retirement. These days, Khaseeri still plays state cricket, captaining the Taagistan side.

Accomplishments & Achievements
During her international career, Khaseeri took 16 5 wicket hauls, the joint 7th-highest for her country. They started with her first match, Nisha's first T20I match, and continued from then on. Additionally, she has 542 wickets, the 3rd-highest wicket taker for her country.
Morality & Philosophy
Nowadays, Tulsi is a very calm individual, as years of yoga and meditation helped her conquer her anger management problems. However, during her playing days, Khaseeri was known as an aggressor, often making batsmen uncomfortable and breaking their grasp on reality. She was often in trouble with the umpires and was almost dropped by the Nishari Cricket Board for being too aggressive to the other teams.

Tulsi married Isvant Sahin in 2009, although, due to recognition reasons, chose to keep her original surname. They have no children. Tulsi has two younger brothers, named Rashnu and Manaash. Her surname, Khaseeri, shows that she is originally from Kashmir, as her ancestors migrated to Azharin in the 1820's. Despite the 200 years of separation, her family still keeps connections to her Kashmiri heritage, although they are small.
