Personal history
Svatva Swadag was born on October 26, 1985, to the legendary cricketer Trishul Swadag, who, at that time, was the national captain of the men's side. Growing up in Nishapur, Svatva would begin to show an interest in cricket, like his father, and soon would enroll in a cricket academy. Initially playing as an all-rounder, Svatva would become a fast-bowling specialist. Eventually, at age 17, after graduating high school, Svatva would go straight to the Nishapur domestic side. 5 years later, at age 21, Svatva would make his debut for the national side in Nisha's first T20 series. Due to his father being the head coach of the men's side at the time, there were accusations that Svatva was only in the side due to nepotism, although the national selectors stood up for the father and son. Svatva would enjoy a 10-year long career, before a loss of form and a falling out killed his international career. However, he continued to play for, and even captained, the Nishari Lions until 2021, when he retired from all forms of cricket, and then joined the Varni Enigmatics as their bowling coach.
Svatva married his wife, Sokhori, in 2009. He has two sons, Akash and Ram, who were born in 2010 and 2012 respectively.
