Sneha Arora

Sneha is one of the tallest members of the Nishari squad, allowing her to get a lot of pace on the ball when Bowling. Additionally, she is often trusty with the bat, providing good runs lower down the order. Her broad shoulders also help her with her athleticism. She is also quite agile, often training with Palak Kaur Bhalla, the best fielder in the side, in order to improve her fielding.

Sneha Abhishek Arora was born on February 24th, 1998 as the youngest of 3 siblings to Abhishek and Diya Arora, a Saraiki-Punjabi family living in Lohnur. Abhishek's family moved from Amaadghar to Lohnur in 1922, separating from the other side of the family Victi Kapoor would eventually be in. Growing up, Sneha would often indulge in the interests of her older siblings, Priya and Arjun. Arjun was especially interested in sports and, following the Men's World Cup Victories in the 2000s, he would start taking Cricket lessons, eventually drawing in Sneha. Due to her height, Arora was always one of the first people picked whenever the kids in her neighborhood played the game, a spectacle that her brother often hated, due to him only ever being 5'10", the shortest of the three siblings. She quickly became a local phenom, leading her to receive a cricket varsity opportunity when applying to colleges for a number of top universities. In the end, she would attend Lohnur University, attending the business school, with backup career aims of going into business strategies. After Graduation, she would even go into her master's program at Lohnur University, continuing to play Cricket for the institution. During her master's completion, she received her first international call-up, although unfortunately never played in that series. Funnily, in that series, her cousin Victi Kapoor made her international debut, scoring a century in that match. However, Arora would have to wait one more year for her debut. She was on the shortlist for new All-rounders after the retirement of Tanvi Taqavi, along with Sokhari Ashtdar, as well as Nili Reshm, who would be implemented as a pure batter. Reshm would be implemented, with Arora and Ashtdar being groomed as eventual replacements for Hira Kaur. Notably, Arora was named in the squad for the 2023 Championship-winning World Cup, although never played a match due to the sublime form of the Pacers in the Squad. In 2023, Arora made her ODI debut, playing against Australia, and she hopes to make her Test Debut at some point as well.

Sneha's Highest Score so far has been 40* (24), scored in a T20I against Sri Lanka. Her best bowling has been 3-10 (3), against Ireland in a T20I.

When applying to Universities, Arora intentionally intended on applying to Royal Rayshahr University, but missed the deadline. She tried to send in an appeal, but the admissions office turned her down.

Sneha's family has always been a really big source of motivation, often believing the best in her. They've always encouraged her and wanted her to do the best job she can, whenever she can.

Despite taking gymnastics lessons for close to 15 years, Arora has always been unable to do a backflip. She can do a front flip, a back handspring, and even a double backflip on a few occasions. She swears up and down that the universe does not want her to do a backflip, but all of her friends like to tease her and say she's scared.

Sneha is the youngest of 3 siblings, with an older sister named Priya and an older brother named Arjun. Priya got married 2020 and is expecting a child with her husband, Rohan Chandani. Additionally, Victi Kapoor, fellow upcoming cricketer, is her fourth cousin. While the two of them are related, they only ever saw each other occasionally, although they often got along as kids, only later both finding out they had the same aspirations.

Sneha grew up in an Astika Hindu family, but fell out with god in her teenage years due to a gradual separation and lack of need. Later, she figured she could live on without god.
