Purpose / Function
Royal Rayshahr University is one of the most prestigious universities in Nisha, and serves as an excellent location for prospective students to spend their 4 years of the university at. RRU boasts the best programs in the country for Political Science, Economics, Biochemistry, Biomedical Engineering, Neuroscience, and Business Analytics.
Alterations
While originally being more or less a business school for the noble houses, as time went on, RRU became more diversified, with a school of philosophy being added 1689 AD, and more schools were added as time went on.
Architecture
Since it is an institution with origins in the 17th century, the scope of architecture within RRU's main campus in Rayshahr is very diverse. From traditional buildings, which draw from Hindu Temple and Indo-Islamic styles to more modern buildings, pulling from Indo-Gothic styles, the buildings are indicators of what time period certain schools were added to RRU's repertoire.

Royal Rayshahr University has its own security and police force employed, and they are hired using funds given to them by the state.
History
Initially beginning as a form of higher education for Nishari Nobles, Royal Rayshahr University was founded by Nishani Aarohi II Gujrana in 1647 AD. Originally, this was made to raise business owners out of the noble class, and the University's first instructors were handpicked by the Nishani and her sister, Izhati Nishi I Partha. In 1957, RRU was officially opened to the public by Nishani Maya IV Gujrana, and ownership was changed from the Nishani to an appointed position, the President of the University. Since then, the school has grown to enroll many students, and, although it still has a reputation as a university for the wealthy, students from all backgrounds live in their dorms.
Tourism
Tours for prospective students are given every year from the months of March-October, with 3 tour dates per month being the norm, although there may be more or less depending on the month.
