Masood Saghafi Stadium

Purpose / Function

Masood Saghafi Stadium is the premier stadium in Parsistan. The stadium is the home of the Shiraj Snakes and the Parsistan domestic teams.

Alterations

In 2012, additional stands were added to the stadium, allowing it to host more people.

History

First built in 1979, Masood Saghafi Stadium, named after the governor of Shiraj, hosted its first international game in 1983, in Nisha's first cricket series after the World Cup. Since then, the stadium has occasionally hosted games, often being passed up for stadiums in better-known places, such as Nishapur, Varn, Aamdaavaad, and Thattonagar.
