In 2001, Hutasa began playing cricket, taking lessons with a number of other aspiring cricketers. In high school, Hutasa captained her team to 2 national championships in a row in 2009 and 2010. These championships earned her various varsity and even a state team offer, although she chose to attend Nishapur University, majoring in psychology. At Nishapur University, she also captained the varsity team for 2 years, although her campaigns wouldn't be as successful as they were in High School. After finishing college, she went to medical school for a year, but dropped out after a year after the Taagistan State Cricket Team. From there, she spent 2 years playing there, even becoming the One-Day Captain in her final 6 months. In 2017, at the age of 24, she made her international debut for Nisha in a T20I against Bangladesh, with the ODI and Test Debuts all coming within a year. For a while, she was a go-to player in all 3 formats, but with the emergence of Siya Jain and Paracha's retirement from ODIs, she was all but dropped from T20I squad. In the future, she may be considered for the Test Vice-Captaincy.
Hutasa's nickname, Hottie, comes from a nickname she used to have as a kid, which was Huttie. After becoming a part of the national team, her nickname evolved to become Hottie.
