Personal history
Born on January 15th, 1983 to a family of Nisharized Turks, Gul Ruhani was the only child of Kishen and Riya Ruhani. Coming from a family of high-ranked priests, Ruhani spent most of her childhood in a mandir, becoming accustomed to the life of the temple. During her days there, she would often play with the other kids of priests, as well as the kids of attendees. This group would often play cricket and soccer, with Gul coming to love both sports. In school, she would play both, being a top prospect for both cricket and soccer when it came to college. She attended Nishari University, one of the country's top Universities, playing varsity Cricket and Soccer while majoring in Computer Science. After College, she worked an entry-level job as a data analyst before she made her international debut at age 24. She would be a reliable middle order batsman up until her retirement at 35 in 2018, calling time on a special career. Ever since 2020, she has been working as a commentator, but has expressed an interest in coaching in the future.
