Due to being a wicketkeeper, Amalya has a stockier build than most, including stronger shoulders. However, she remains agile, creating a healthy middle in between two extremes.

Amalya Tigrani Vardanian was born on July 1st in Arran to Tigran and Anna Vardanian as the 3rd of 5 children. Growing up in Arran in a middle-upper class family, she was able to attend Private School, avoiding the often unstable state of the Arran Public School System. Since her Private School required all students to take up an instrument and play a sport, so she chose Viola and Cricket respectively. While she enjoyed both, even going to College for Viola, cricket ended up becoming her life. Starting out as a top-order batsman, she transferred to wicketkeeping at 12, moving down to the middle order in the process. After college, she joined the Hayistan State cricket team in 2017, making her international debut only 2 years later, in 2019. Since then, she has become a reliable second-string option, but due to superb wicketkeepers such as Aashna Yadav and Soni Ohastia, she cannot make a solid start in the first team. Recently, she has even led this second-string team, along with Maya Paracha, to a remarkable series win in England in 2022. In that series, she scored 67 runs in two innings, at an average of 67. In the future, she may be considered for the position of captain, but that future is so far away that it cannot be reliably predicted.

Amalya previously dated Male Cricketer Sasha Bhagat, as well as Rohan Patel, but both of these relationships were ended on good terms.

Accomplishments & Achievements
As of June 29th, 2023, Amalya is yet to score a century, although her highest score is 99* (50), which she scored in an ODI in 2022. Additionally, she has captained the side once in a T20I series against England, which could signify the country grooming young talents such as herself and Victi Kapoor in the future.
