Personal history
Agna Sinha was born in India on June 9, 1986, to Suresh Sinha and Aishe Sinha (nee Shah). In 1989, 3 years after his birth, the Sinhas moved to Lohnur, Punjab, Nisha, in order for Suresh to take a job opportunity. Due to the friendly relationship between Nisha and India, the immigration process was easy, and the family still owns their house in Delhi, India. At the age of 5, Agna showed an interest in cricket, so his father, Suresh, enrolled him in a local academy. From there, Agna wrote his own story, being drafted into the national side at age 19, forgoing college in the process. Agna had a difficult time in his teenage years, due to haveing no close cousins or siblings around his age, and so would often act out. One time, when he was 15, Agna was caught stealing from a local store. As a punishment, his father locked him inside his room for 3 days, in order to discipline him. In order to eat food, drink water, or use the bathroom, Agna would have to knock on his own door and be given explicit permission by either parent to be let out. Nowadays, Agna continues to play cricket for the Nishari Men's Side, even 18 years since his debut, although he retired from Test cricket in 2019 and ODI cricket in 2022.
