Svarthall (S-v-ar-th-all)
Svarthall is the land of cold. It was discoverd by Abraham Brown in 789 YSC. Before his arrival the land was teming with life and even had some intellegent life on it. Overall the continet was cold and barren but, it didn't mean it wasn't dangrous. Browns' expedition was hunted by the strays that live in the forests. He also found what looked to be old buildings built by humans. Now, the continet is still being colonized and the humans are trading with the races there.
Geography
It was a cold barren wastland. It was covered with snow for the whole year. The forrests were dense and dark, perfect for the strays to hunt. The lakes were frozen and the old buildings were vacant.
Ecosystem
Most of the wildlife were built for the cold. The plants also had some protectant of the cold lands.
Natural Resources
The continent had a lot of timber and stone there. It also traded the furs of the species that live there for warmth during the winter.
History
The continent was origionally discovered by Lumu explorers back in 180 YSC. They tried to start a settlement but couldn't bear the cold. It remained undiscoverd for almost 600 years until Browns expidition in 789 YSC. During his expadition of this "new found" continent he experienced the cold and dangerous enviorment. 12 out of the 80 people with him died from frost bite and stray attacks. Now, continent is still being settled by humans and the races there are also starting their own civilization.
Tourism
The only primary tourist Svarthall gets are the mercenaries, merchants, and new settlers that had to go here.
