Bortghar Imperium (B-ore-t-g-ar Em-pear-e-u-m)
The Bortghar Imperium was formed by the high priest of Vutneir in Onirod. He wanted an Empire that spread across the continet of Freger. The Imperium wanted to spread Ahrum across the land. The High priest started conquring the western kingdoms then made its way toward the city of Ahro. When the Empire was formed on Freger they wanted more. They sailed across the sea to find the Elven lands and Recolonized the territory. Then, they launched a large slave trade of the Ethnic groups there and others who didn't worship Ahrum were forces to work as well. The Ethnic people who belived weren't slaves but were still treated harshly. In 866 YSC the HIgh preist wanted more territory so they launched an invasion of the Elven and Dwavern lands. This started the Great war which destroyed the economy so they started pillaging the colonies they took over. These raids were the final straw, it caused a revolt which turned into a civil war. The Bortghars were destroyed in the Seige of Onirod in 900 YSC.
Structure
The Imperium was a theocratic government. It worships Bortghar the goddes of war and hunting in Ahrum Mythology. Their leader was the high priest of Bortghar. One got this title by surrendering his soul to the god, you had to sacrifice something of high importance to offically become one with a god.
Culture
The Imperium is Ahrumians at heart. they say that Ahrum should be the only religon in the world.
Public Agenda
They always try to do the "right" thing. They always justify their actions by saying that "the gods told them so". For the most part they say that they are going to make the world a more religious place.
Assets
The imperium assets are their gold and silver. They also love their armour and weapons. Ahrum artifacts are also important to the imperium.
History
The imperium started out taking the western lands in 786 YSC. Then after the war of the jems they took the eastern part of the territory. Then the high preist took the old colonies. Then almost 100 years later the great war erupted. After the war they had a economic downfall so they pillaged the colonies. This caused the Ostite revolution and the collapse of the empire.
Disbandment
The disbandment happend because of lots of factors. The first being the economic downfall of the government. The economy was already a flawed system but the great war cripled the whole government. After the war the populous was starving and very poor. The next factor was the lack of a real political system. The goverment was a horrible excuse for a goverment, it barley could function. The most important factor was the Ostite revolt. Other ethnic groups revolted but they soon joined Desono's War against the imperium because of how well known he was as a great war leader. The imperium didn't have that much soliders but, the ones they did have fought bravely. The goverment surrenderd in 900 YSC after Desono's army took the Capital city of Onirod.
Demography and Population
There are 3 classes in the imperium. There is the Preist class, the working class, and the slave class. The preist class is all of the highly religous people. The working class are everyone who belive in Ahrum that aren't preist. The slave class is everyone who didn't belive in Ahrum.
Territories
The Imperium has all of the continet of Freger and some of the coastline of Idesseoa. All of their territory was forcilby conqored over 200 years.
Military
The military used to be pretty well equiped. They had the highest quality armor and swords. This wasn't the case after the great war. When the war ended the Army was very small and equiped with farming materials for the most part.
Religion
Preist in Ahrum were the only People of power in the government. As a matter of fact, they were the only "Important" people.
Foreign Relations
The imperium wasn't really liked across the world. The wood elves hated them because they took their land and oppressed their people. The dwarves hated them because they fought against each other in the great war.
