Bucra was born to two half-orc parents in Lailuna, who were killed during a rebellion when she was only a few years old. Not long after, she and several other rebellion orphans were taken to Castle Gabbana by order of Lailuna's ruler, Lord Dolce Gabbana. His intent was to house them until he found others to take care of them, but then ended up bonding with the orphans to the point he just adopted them all himself.
Bucra grew very close to her adoptive father over the years and he encouraged her growing interest in diplomacy and politics, which eventually led to him naming her as his successor.
