Vee

Vee? That robotic monstrosity? I heard that Vee was destroyed years ago.
When Valhalla Dynamics was working on program to develop Cyberdragons capable of long distance spaceflight, they constructed a number of prototypes of especially large size. One of these prototype Space dragons was "Prototype Five", identified with the ancient Roman numeral "V" painted on its side.   Prototype Five was built as a slightly more advanced and more refined version of its close "sister", Prototype Four.   Like all the other prototype space dragons built, and unlike its much smaller Cyberdragon cousins, Prototype Five is large enough to house its own VI processing servers within itself. In this original configuration, power was supplied by a small fission reactor in its torso. Two large wing-like structures and numerous fin-like structures provide act as a hybrid between solar sail and photovoltaic energy collector, providing additional power production, propulsion, and maneuvering capability.

The Pallas Heist

Prototypes Four and Five were the targets of a grand heist by the Techno-Pirates of House Pallas. it took over a year of meticulous planning and set-up, but eventually House Pallas managed to abscond with the two enormous Cyberdragons.   After taking the two prototypes back to a secret location in the Asteroid Belt, work began on various unique modifications and refits. The House Pallas pirates had a lot of technology at their disposal, some of it looted and raided from others, some of it developed themselves, and most of it cobbled together from various scrap and salvage. Servers and electronic hardware was the most extensive and complex part of the modification project, and much of the operating system and software were re-written.   The Valhalla Dynamics logos and branding were scratched off, leaving only the numeral "V" left on its plates. Prototype Five became known as "Vee" among the crews retrofitting it, and the name stuck.   The refits were extensive and time consuming, but eventually Vee emerged along with their half-sister, Ivy. The changes to their programming changed them from possessing a normal VI to a full AGI.

Attack Over Titan

Vee, along with its half-sister, Ivy, wandered freely across the Sol system for several months, and eventually the pair found their way back to Saturnia.
