Leif Erikson, sailing west in search of the legendary Valhalla, finds land to the west.
Leif Erikson listened to the trader's story. Some time ago, while sailing from Norway to Greenland, the man had been blown off course. He had ended up far to the west of his intended destination, adrift in an endless expanse of blue. Or it at least it should have been. But even further west the trader set eyes on something that shouldn't exist. Land. Leif wasted no time. He bought the trader's ship and gathered a crew of thirty-five men, and together they set sail for towards the setting sun. Leif wanted to see this new land. He needed to see this new land. See, while his father, Erik the Red, clung towards the old gods, Leif had been listening to the Christian Priests that had been pilgrimaging to Greenland. And what he was hearing? It made a lot of sense to him. He wanted the truth about the gods. So he headed west. Because far to the west, beyond the sunset, Asgard was supposed to wait...
