Tribes Of Thull'Ichar
In the center of "Kel'Ehrev" just north of Vrelu'Tsayo in the secluded jungles of "Thull'Ichar", a bunch of old tribes resides along the many rivers snaking through the wilderness. The tribes are, as the jungle, very concealed from their civilized neighbors and in trying to retain their old ways, has made the woods unwelcoming for any outside culture. Even while being very aggressive towards unlucky folks wandering into their territory, the "Tsayon" people has not tried interfering with the tribes way of life for centuries. So the culture and spiritual practices of these lands are as wide and ancient as can be, yet as mysterious as can be. The tribes we know furthermore have some peculiar bond with the jungle, in the likes of druidism. The huts at which they live, are raised well above the ground, fastened all the way at the crown of the trees. Their bond with nature is shown when looking from beneath their villages, branches and leaves are covering the entire underside of every hut, making them fully disguised from every angle but above. Giant vines are, in an almost unnatural way, intertwined to form bridges between every inhabited tree.
The Known Tribes
The Known Tribes
The Two southernmost Villages, are the only ones ever in contact with civilization and therefore the only ones we have any real knowledge of, "Benjyerr" and "Valtheryk". None of them speak any tongue understood by the rest of Nilaris, so the things we know are based on observation and speculations purely.
Benjyerr
From what has been observed, the Benjyerr tribe, in the southeastern woods, seems to have a deep connection with the spirits of the forest. No apparent warriors inhabit this village as it appears they have all their trust in the protection of what ever they worship with their continuous blood sacrifices. Despite having no weaponry nor fighters to arm, they have tamed a species of lizards which can grow up to 4 meters in length. These six legged serpents are excellent climbers, as they can grasp around the tree with their long body, like a snake, yet have massive, sharp claws on each of their feet. The Benjyerr people latches themselves on to the upper body and uses the lizards as climbing tools of their own, which has made it possible to place their village in much higher trees than their neighboring tribes.
Valtheryk
While not having the same scaly companions as the Benjyerr, the Valtheryk, in the southwestern mountains, has made up for it with immaculate craftsmanship, given the tools at their exposal, making them able to not just hide from the grounds predators and even be at the top of the food chain. No sacred rituals to any otherworldly being has ever been seen here, they seem to worship the tribe leader, a very old man, who looks nothing like his fellow tribesmen and is, despite a hunched back, still as tall they are.
