The World Bearers
Long before man, when the world was not yet, only four beings existed, "Zhy'Ru", "Kitsukai" "Gengxinár" and "Phine'Xei". Zhy'Ru the mother of the time after, is seen as a great, hairless mammoth carrying the world known as "Kam'Toch" (Land Of Celestials) on its back. Gengxinár the mother of past and present, has the form of a tortoise who carries yet another world, the one we call home. Kitsukai the mother of the time that never was, pictured as a great grey fox, she carries the land best known as the "Shadow World" yet not on her back, according to old scriptures, this world is placed in her nether regions, within a cave where light never shines. Phine'Xei the mother of anytime in between, seen as a grand Phoenix soaring through the emptiness between her sisters.
Birth Of The Ichir
In the wake of dawn, Zhy'Ru and Phine'Xei one day decided to blow life into the world carried by the great hairless mammoth, and so they birthed the first two children, "Anche'Inix" and Unche'Inix", these two are known as the "Ichir" (The First Ones). When overlooking their home the Ichir saw nothing but empty potential in the lands, so Anche'Inix took her halberd and punctured the ground from which hole they birthed five children of their own to inhabit the lands. "Tailian, Daughter off the storm", "Wuyan, Daughter of the mountain", "Hanbei, Daughter of the sea", "Lushe, Daughter of fire" and "Haolien, Daughter of the arcane", all depicted as dragons, each in their respected aspect.
Birth Of Men
When Kitsukai (the grey fox)heard of the life inhabiting the back of Zhy'Ru, she became so envious that she demanded Phine'Xei to make her a home for new life as well, so she did. Yet none of them would have known that since they where born from jealousy, not a true wish, it would taint the children with darkness to become demons powered by greed. The dark children would quickly realize their home were no match in beauty to that of their sister worlds and as they are made from it, their jealousy overtook them and they begged Kitsukai to give them a home somewhere else. The grey fox, only wanting the best for her children, flew out to find and take the world on Gengxinár's back. The instant Kitsukai's demon children sat foot on the tortoise's land, they corrupted and destroyed everything with their mere presence. Zhy'Ru and her children pleaded with the fox and the demons to leave the land alone or they would be removed, the request was denied and a war arose. For ages the Ichir and their five dragon children, fought the demons in the land on Gengxinár's back, until it was realized they couldn't defeated their enemy. In a drastic move, Phine'Xei, seeing no other way of stopping the chaos, bound the two Ichir with the demons, creating a balance of harmony and chaos and manifested the equilibrium in the form of humans. As humans are neither gods nor demons, the stability in the forces has made us mortals. To sustain the life of the new creations, the phoenix also took the Ichar's children, the five dragons and used the essence of their home world to grow mountains, fill the canyons to make seas and sprout life into the open plains. Though a victory, the battle for balance was not over yet, as the World Bearers Zhy'Ru and Kitsukai were now begun fiercely battling to get their children back. While the great burning bird, Phine'Xei had no trouble controlling the children, their parents were not the same and the only possibility she had to diminish the harm, was to stand in between the Celestial beings and take the fall. Every day the phoenix protects both of them while shining bright in the sky and every night she dies only leaving her grey ashes visible, just to resurrect each morning and fight another day for the balance of the worlds.
Afterlife
When a life is ended the body will go back to nature, and the soul, or the the equilibrium of harmony and chaos if you will, is sent to a new host to keep the balance in the world at bay. If one has shown an unbalancing amount of jealousy and greed, ones soul will be sent to a lesser mighty being and if one does not correct these flaws one will end in deep dark caves of the Shadow World as a half-bred child of Kitsukai. On the other hand if one has shown an unbalance of kindness and empathy ones soul will eventually be rid of corruption and one will ascent to Kam'Toch, the old home of the Ichar.
