Luthu'Hagar
Along the "River Bel", which channels all down the "Thousand Steppes" in eastern "Kel'Ehrev", a fairly young and small city nation lies called "Luthu'Hagar" which translates to "Fair Haven" and is just that. Many lords, nobles and highmerchants of all the human realms will, when they reach a certain age or no longer wish to directly control their former position, move to the lustrous city, almost exclusively home to highborn or the self-acquired upper-class. The city has become a sanctuary of art, music and politics, as the old lords cant seem to fully lay down their wish to rule. Because of Luthu'Hagar's position, centered well between the human realms, and good relations with every nation, the halls along the "Lane Of Discourse" within the city, is a commonly used site for the human nations to debate politics amongst each other on a neutral ground.
Court Of Luthu'Hagar
The city court is the most renowned, supposedly neutral jury in the realms. Upon the happening of war crimes, oath breakings and fraud across borders, the Judgement of the accused will most often be done in the "Highcourt" right in the center of the city, where the Lane Of Discourse meets the river. The former lords and nobles making up the jury have all sworn oath to stay impartial in any given case, a tradition that has lived for no more than a hundred or so years. The entire idea of the court is to prevent wars across the human realms, caused by individuals breaking the law in another nation, yet they have no actual authority anywhere but in the city, so a trial can only commence when both nations agrees to the terms.
A City Of Entertainment
Except for being a political stronghold, all sorts of artforms have sprouted and some even begun here. While the entirety of the city is a beauty to behold, two squares stands out, "Plaza Of Sound" and "Aesthetics Plaza". Plaza of sound is home to three huge concert halls built specifically for "Orchestral Music", an artform almost exclusively seen in this square. Aesthetics Plaza on the other hand has only one noise ringing through constantly, the sound of a hammer hitting a chisel, for here great statues as well as busts are being raised and carved out in the dozens. At this very moment a great monument for the Highcourt is underway, the courts symbol, a white dove with a sealed letter in its beak, is being raised at the center of the square.
