Cults of Ris
Formerly obscure, the Cults of Ris have come into focus in Kalin in the modern day due to their involvement with Jayllin Tano and the events of Jayllin's Terror.
The Cults of Ris are a decentralized radical group that worship Ris, an aspect of Imathi and Alkis, and seem to have an apocalyptic worldview, combined with extreme anti-authority (especially anti-Tharrisian) sentinments.
Before Jayllin's Terror the cults were mostly known for fomenting rebellion and dissent against Tharrisia, and have been successfully linked to dozens of terrorist bombings, assassinations, and other subversive activities.
Various national governments have designated the Cults of Ris as a high level threat, joining Tharrisia in its decades-long campaign to stamp out the cults.
Structure
Little is known of how the Cults organize themselves, beyond the fact that each specific cult seems to be led by a "Cennend of Resistance."
Culture
Beyond their deeply religious nature, and anti-Tharrisian mission, little is known of how the cults behave or act amongst themselves. It has been noted though, that there seems to be more Changelings among their number than would be expected.
Public Agenda
While the full goals of the cults are unknown, their viewing of Tharrisia as an imperialist power that must be overthrown seems to be most obvious and observable; along with possibly sharing Jayllin's apocalpytic worldview.
